keith haring, was always the pop art prankster. his sometimes self-effacing humour, bold colours, bold lines, tribal figureines, remain as popular today as they ever were in the 1980's. though a 'child' of pop art, he managed to instill his 'comic' icons full of subversion & cultural metaphor. violence, money, sex, aids & religion were topics of exploration through his 'deceptively' simple style.
